🎓 Core skills for the AI era

Foundations for the AI Era

The more AI can do for us, the more our own foundations matter: the language skills to turn thoughts into precise sentences, English to reach a wider world of sources, math and science to weigh numbers and evidence, and an understanding of how AI produces its answers.

With these basics, one well-made prompt lets you work with AI clearly and turn what it gives you into creative, productive work. Five courses, taken one lesson at a time.

Five courses

Ten lessons each. Taken in order, every lesson builds on the one before.

COURSE 1 · 10 lessonsMath Basics

AI can do the arithmetic for you, but deciding what to calculate and judging whether the answer is right is still your job. This course rebuilds the math you need for that judgment.

  1. Numbers and Operations: Fractions and Decimals Revisited
  2. Ratios and Rates: Reading Percentages Correctly
  3. Equations: A Balance for Finding Unknown Numbers

  5. Earth and Climate — Plates, Atmosphere, Seasons
  6. Space Basics — From the Solar System to the Big Bang

COURSE 3 · 10 lessonsAI Basics

To use AI well, you first need to know what it does well and what it does poorly. Once you understand how it works, your questions change, and when your questions change, so do the results.

  1. What Is AI? — Rules and Learning
  2. Machine Learning Basics — Data, Model, Training, Evaluation
  3. Neural Networks, Intuitively — Small Calculations Add Up to Judgment
  4. How Do Large Language Models Produce Text?

Learning paths

Lessons picked from all five courses and put in order for three kinds of learners. Work down the list and each lesson sets up the next.

Students

Lock in the core of calculation (fractions, percentages, equations, functions), then sentence structure and reading, English patterns and tenses, and scientific thinking, ending with how to study with AI.

How each lesson works

  1. GoalsSee first what you will be able to do by the end.
  2. Lesson and examplesRead the explanation and work through the examples by hand.
  3. Summary and quizReview the key points, answer the questions, then open the answers.
  4. Review with AICopy a prompt to review with AI, then mark the lesson complete.

What this tool does

Foundational literacy is the skill that lasts longest in the AI era. These 50 lessons cover Korean, English, math, basic science and AI in five courses of ten. Clear writing, reading English sources, weighing numbers and evidence, and knowing how AI produces answers let you talk to AI precisely and turn the results into creative, productive work.

How it is calculated

Every lesson runs: goals, explanation with worked examples, key points, practice questions, and prompt ideas for reviewing with AI. Answers and explanations can be expanded, and multiple-choice questions can be checked instantly. Marking a lesson complete saves your progress only in this browser. The math, science and AI courses are fully in English; the Korean and English courses are taught in Korean.
